The world has changed with the evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and its presence is felt everywhere. In our work. In our family life. In our daily lives. The promise is pervasive, suggesting a permanent alteration of our world and how we perceive it. We experiment with AI applications, apply it in our professional work, and while the results can be remarkable, they often fall just short: a subtle dissonance of “not quite right.” That is the critical gap, which the seasoned expert, leveraging years of experience, may still recognize instantly. This distinction may not always matter, but in critical moments and for important decisions that could affect lives, the outcomes with an expert versus without matter profoundly. At the same time, managing the tsunami of information produced nowadays leads to information overload for the expert. Companies, organizations, institutes, industries, governments, and EU research consortia are rushing to implement AI solutions and technologies. At the same time, they are struggling with the “not quite right,” and the uncertainty that comes with it (e.g., hallucinations, bias, legal risk), and it is within this precise tension that FwdFaster AI operates.

What We Do at FwdFAster?
FwdFaster supports organizations and companies to overcome that gap. We validate AI output against human output. We ensure that the “digital confidence” of the model is backed by statistical reality, guide you through the maze of AI buzzwords, commercial cowboys, and implementation options, and train you to use it with trust and confidence.
How we do it:
Validation & Simulation: We use simulation infrastructure(s) to test your data before you go live. We calculate exactly how much “risk” you are taking, or how much time (and energy and costs) you can save by testing which AI-model works best for your implementation.
Screenathons: Where we temporarily host ASReview on a server for a team of people/experts and consortia to quickly get an overview of the relevant literature.
Building Knowledge: Building a Knowledge Warehouse so that the expert can retrieve and use the state of the art and needed knowledge directly.
Training the “Expert”: We train expert teams to remain critical and to use AI tools as a Super Assistant, not as a replacement for them. We teach “AI Literacy” to experts to help them make high-stakes decisions.
Why us?
Because we have a direct line to the AI Lab at Utrecht University. We understand the “tectonic shift” because we are studying the fault lines. We bring the rigour of the science roots and connections via the AI-lab into the boardroom.
Because we apply the EU-way of working => doing it together! Trustworthy and transparent!
The future of AI is promising, but dangerous if unguided. “We help you move Forward, Faster (and Safer).”
